Why are you participating? Bill Baker MD has been an Internist at Johnston Memorial Hospital for almost 25 years. He has diagnosed many patients and friends with breast cancer over the years and understands the pain and suffering this diagnosis brings. He is heartened by the many advances in breast cancer treatment and has several patients who have had meaningful lives even after late stage diagnoses. He is a passionate advocate for mammography and other cancer screening. He is grateful to Susan G Komen whose grant helped launch breast navigation at Johnston Memorial Hospital in 2015.
