Central Bears (CES)
Central Elementary wants to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer in a different way. We've created our own fundraiser called "Wearing Jeans for a CURE". We want to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. We are taking our first step towards a world without breast cancer by raising money to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
Teachers and staff, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 and Wednesday, October 19, 2016 please pay $3.00 each day to wear your jeans (and a pink shirt, if you'd like) to work to support Susan G. Komen. You may choose to donate more than $3.00 if you'd like. This is a new DIY platform that you can make a donation online with your credit/debit card by clicking the "Donate Now" button. Please click on Donate Now and choose which amount you'd like to donate, or click other to put the specific amount that you'd like to doante for jeans day. If you are not comfortable with makine an online donation please pay cash to Ms. G. Please see Ms. G. after you make a donation so you can sign your name on a running pink ribbon paper. These papers will be hung in the office facing the hallways to show our support, the students loved looking at them last year.
The support from CES was phenomenal last year and I appreciate your kindness. CES raised over $600.00 to support the Susan G. Komen mission!
Thank you for helping me as I raise money in support of ending breast cancer forever.
